The XD certainly is heavier. Heck, the XD subcompact is still heavier than the G19. One heavy chunk of steel and plastic. One of these days I'll disassemble the two and weigh parts to try to figure out where all the extra mass in the XD is, vs. the Glock. Other than that, I differ with you on most of the points of opinion or preference.As for the XDsc vs Glock issue, the Glock 26 is a little (and I stress "little") easier to carry than the XD. The grip doesn't appear to print as much, and it does feel lighter, however the grip on the XD is much more comfortable than the grip on the G26. Considering all.
