Forum Rules. Have a Jandy 1400 throwing 120 & 121 codes. It's 2 years old and was a warranty replacement of another cell so I'm thinking I don't get warranty coverage. Nevertheless, I pulled the DC cable from the cell and the center pin is loose and can almost be pulled right out. There is also a drop of water leaking out very slowly.garrygoeson : Before you replace any boards, try this: disconnect the flow sensor from the board. then power on unit, if within about 10 seconds the 170 code goes away, replce the flow sensor. if you cant get the 170 code to disappear, then you may need to replace the front board. 3-5 years is the lifespan for a Jandy salt cell so if you need a new sensor it may make sense to bite the bullet and get the entire cell. If it is also telling you salt is low, do not put any salt in until you either replace the sensor, or have the water tested at the pool store (no test strips).

I called Jandy/Zodiac tech support and they walked me thru testing the power board. I was only getting erratic power readings to the ignitor, anywhere from 36-75V.
