The SAX2V1S router sucks. I'm not expecting anyone to be able to solve this problem for me. Really it's more of a rant. The SAX2V1S is hot garbage. When I upgraded my service to 1 gig, I requested them to send me a WiFi 6E router since my new MacBook Pro supports 6E. And lo and behold, I'm hitting greater than 1gbps on speedtests on my Mac.If you're looking to upgrade your internet speed, this Spectrum router is worth considering. You can't choose with those routers. Spectrum smart routers don't always play well with wifi cameras. They do broadcast in 2Ghzand 5Ghz but the router decide s which bandwidth the device will connect to by the distance it from the router.
